Buy Low and Sell High!

Buy, Sell, Buy, Buy, Sell.  Ahh, the sound of traders on the Pacific Coast Stock Exchange (PCSE).  Those were the sounds I heard as a young boy working for the fastest growing brokerage houses in America.  I was only 19 years old working as the Assistant Manager of the Error Control Department for newly formed Charles Schwab Discount Brokerage House located at number One 2nd Street in beautiful downtown San Francisco.  My primary responsibility was to monitor and control trade tickets that were being researched between business operations and our trading floors.  That’s where I learned the philosophy of buying something (anything) low, and then turning around and selling it for more that what I paid for it.  Buy Low and Sell High.

Periodically my job responsibility would call for me to go over to the seat Charles Schwab held at the PCSE to take note of error prone activity (???).  I was taken by first and foremost I was actually on the floor and second… the urgency of the operations taking place between the brokers.  Millions of dollars worth of transactions was occurring right before my eyes on little pieces of paper.  Buy 5000 OXXI at the market… “Sold!” someone would scream.  The buy low and sell high basic concept has been with me since the time I started working, and is the catalyst for the Auction Site CGBidNow.com.
